Can we help type 1 diabetics?

Modified on Wed, 4 May, 2022 at 4:29 PM

Those with type 1 diabetes do not have a working pancreas. The difference with type 2 diabetes is that the pancreas is typically still able to release insulin. Type 1 diabetes is dependent on insulin. Type 2 diabetes can often be reversed through diet and exercise so that the body becomes more sensitive to the insulin it is capable of producing.

Our Diabetes Solution Kit targets those with type 2 diabetes. However, some of the same principles can be applied to those with type 1 diabetes. The eating habits we recommend may be able to reduce your amount of insulin required, but not eliminate it altogether. Often, losing weight, eating healthy food, and being active can really help both types of diabetes - and that is what we are about.
